I think it must be almost dead cause it hasnāt moved from the spot I put it in outside. Definitely still alive but just not much life left. Which apparently is how this works. The babies will eat the mom soon. 𤯠If you look closely you can see them on her back.

Nah, I donāt like killing stuff, even spiders which are probably one of my biggest fears. The circle of life needs all the help it can get. Insect populations are way down which means less food for other animals. So, shes been put outside where her remaining babies can try to survive. Although the stray cats are curious.

This is why as much as my family hates cave crickets in our workshop, I refuse to kill them. Theyāve got an important place in the insect ecosystem. Besides, they look menacing but are 100% harmless.
