It's 9. It's a little tricky and plays on people's temptations.
First you do parentheses which is (1+2)=3
THEN is the part where people normally get baited because they'll want to do 2(3) because they just completed the work in the parentheses...
BUT THIS IS INCORRECT :)
You must go left to right at this point, so you do:
6/2=3
3 (3) = 9
