PoW proves "resources consumed." PoS proves "capital locked." Neither answers the ultimate question: Is this system actually needed? In MeritX, value isn't decided by hash rate or staking. It’s determined exclusively by the Premium the free market is willing to pay.

How PoP works: No pre-mines. No VC unlocks. No narrative-driven issuance. Token supply is governed by a hardcoded power function based on Uniswap V3 TWAP. AI is useful → Price pumps → Issuance allowed to subsidize devs. AI is useless → No premium → Supply frozen.

The Math & The Hard Cap: S(P) = 40,950,000 * (P_TWAP / P_0)^0.12 To prevent hyperinflation, the supply expansion is strictly hard-capped at ≤ 3.5% per 24 hours. This is not a governance parameter you can vote on. It’s an absolute physical law written in Solidity.
