An interesting fact.The first mask with a medical purpose was invented by Frenchman Charles Lorme during the bubonic plague epidemic in Europe. It was believed that such a mask protects the doctor from plague infection due to fragrant herbs, possessing med and disinfecting properties, they destroyed dangerous bacteria.
