finally made it to burdell for brunch yesterday and my god, those pancakes!!!! the candied pecans & dried bananas add the perfect sweet crunch. and the caramel is nice and gooey but not overly sweet the buttermilk pancakes themselves are fluffy but have a nice bite (with surprise banana throughout). plus, you can actually taste the buttermilk the thicc bacon is also delish! excellent smoke i mean, everything at burdell is good. named best restaurant in the US by food & wine for a reason but man, those pancakes, will definitely be back for those pancakes
