Coffee and Chapters
There’s a bookstore café I visit when I need both caffeine and comfort. The smell of espresso blends perfectly with the scent of new books, and the background noise is just enough to feel cozy without being distracting.
Last week, I spent the entire afternoon there, alternating between sipping cappuccino and reading short stories. Every now and then, I’d glance up to watch other people — a man typing furiously on his laptop, a teenager sketching in a notebook, a group of friends debating over which graphic novel to buy.
It’s not just a place to read — it’s a place to exist in good company, even without speaking.
