State Channels: Allow for multiple transactions to be processed off-chain and then recorded on the blockchain as a single transaction. Examples include Bitcoin's Lightning Network.
Sidechains: Separate blockchains that are linked to the main blockchain through a two-way peg, allowing for the transfer of assets between the two.
Rollups: A method of aggregating multiple transactions into a single transaction on the main chain. There are two main types: Optimistic Rollups and Zero-Knowledge Rollups (ZK-Rollups).
