According to Chief Financial Officer Anat Ashkenazi, AI coding agents are responsible for about 50% of the company’s code output - doubling from 25% in October 2024.
The statement came alongside Alphabet’s record-breaking fourth-quarter revenue of $113.8 billion, with Google Cloud posting a 48% year-over-year increase.
Looking ahead, Alphabet plans to invest up to $185 billion in AI infrastructure in 2026. CEO Sundar Pichai emphasized that expanding computing capacity remains the company’s top strategic priority.
