As a member of IndieDAO, we spend a fair bit of time thinking about this. IMO, nothing beats one (and preferably more) referral(s) from someone who has actually worked with them on a team. Be it product, design or dev, this seems to hold up.
My @indiewin.eth of the week you ask? Just being an indie. Today after dropping the kids at school, I popped into a local bakery for a morning bun and a little coding. I was interrupted of course— client chats and indie protocol testing with @seanconnolly and @royriver23, but I did make progress all the same. :)
Wish I could be there— not yet at the conference. :( If you are, you should go. This talk will give your frames the UX to engage!
