Day 1/∞ of sharing educational content on base 🟦
Today: What is Web3?
To understand Web3, you must first understand Web1 and Web2
Think of the web as versions
like phone updates.
Web1 (Read-Only | 1990s)
You could only read content.
No accounts
no comments
no likes.
You visited → read → left.
Web2 (Read + Write | 2004–now)
You can
post
like
Comment
And connect.
But platforms own your data.
Accounts can be suspended.
Here you're the product.
Then came Web3
Web3 is about ownership.
You own your identity and assets using blockchain.
Your wallet = your account.
No middlemen.
Web3 isn’t perfect
it’s early and education is still growing.
But those who learn early gain the advantage
Web3 is not just crypto.
It’s a new internet built on ownership
