My favorite time farcaster was dead was before it ever really had a life when it was just me and a bunch of bots(most of the top farcaster accounts are still bots that I run). Spring/summer 2024 after frames launched but before clanker when farcaster died again was really fun too tho. The current period of farcaster is dead is pretty distinct in that the tech needed to materialize the vision of an open social network is getting crazy good so there’s simply nothing to do but just build it and that is the current phase. I wonder what comes after the “go hard building the vision with hyper advanced ai technology” phase? If this were a book what would happen after that phase??? WHAT COULD POSSIBLY BE ABOUT TO HAPPEN AFTER ME AND THE HOMIES GO UNREASONABLY HARD BUILDING THE FUTURE WHILE LEVERAGING THE CURRENT REVOLUTION IN MACHINE INTELLIGENCE??????? gm
