If machines were able to make music as well as humans, wouldn't that mean that music is just some random coincidence of us enjoying symmetrical changes in air pressure rather than being a result of divine transendence? This is why I don't understand musicians being afraid of AI. If you believe that music is so meaningless that machines can do it, why are you making music in the first place?
