A couple days ago, I just used my old MacBook to watch youtube. Now it is a personal assistant named Tetra who:
- does nightly research on trends in ai, crypto, and investment opportunities
- drafts a blog post every night based on my past work, priorities, and research
- Briefs me every morning with a proposed schedule based on priorities and research
- keeps track of my event newsletters and flags anything I might be interested in. Offers to add it to my calendar
- keeps an extensive library of local markdown files that contain valuable context about my life and work, which it uses to continuously get better at its job, and which I have total control to edit and move as I please
I am forgetting some things here and this is just after one day of setup. Clawdbot is the most blown away I have ever been by a software tool period. This old macbook went from being a bulky paperweight to a highly advanced assistant just because of an open source program built mostly by a single dev. I am awestruck.
