anthropic had the mandate circa dario's essay and opus 4.6 pre-codex, then claude usage limits got too aggro and cc got mogged by codex for a few months with tibo resetting usage every 4 days like a saint among men, now karpathy joins ant and codex begins to falter...
hard to keep up, mandate getting passed back and forth like ping pong
