What I want from an “AI device”: A little chapstick sized thing with a laser pointer and camera on one end, mic on the other, and a single button on the side. It’s *always* recording, but locally on device and everything is deleted unless you press the button once, at which point a snapshot (audio and video) is taken and saved. It’s smart so it’ll save the clip where it should start or where you tell it. Hold the button and you can talk to it, and it has full sight and sound and can reason based on it. While holding, push the button forward and a laser pointer goes on so you can point at things and have the AI comment or do something. — I would use it to save stuff, memories, etc. if I have a thought and wanted to record it or do something (eg a reminder or task on my computer) I’d just say it and the agent would go off in the background and do something.
