My experience with farcaster: Overall, it feels like there are cliques or friend groups thay migrated here from elsewhere and if you are not already part of a group the social aspect of the app is not too interesting. This spills over to the mini apps. If you are new or just arent being social your neynar score is low and you cant use some popular apps. In addition to a neynar score, some apps require you to own an NFT that minted out already, hold some token, or have a pro subscription. Sometimes the requirements are clear, but many apps have no docs and dont give any indication as to what the app does or how to use it. I've had this experience with top 10 apps so I assume they are catering to an audience that is in the know. If it wasnt for my own curiosity regarding the tech I dont think I would be motivated to stick around. All that being said, the atmosphere is not antagonistic like other social apps which makes it easier to stay. I also didnt need a subscription to post this somewhat long post.
