A new Trojan aimed at stealing cryptocurrency is spreading on WhatsApp.
Hackers are sending phishing links purporting to be from acquaintances, government programs, and investment chats. One click on such a link triggers the download of malware that scans banking applications and crypto wallets.
Brazil is particularly at risk (the Trojan is tailored specifically for local banks and exchanges).
