I probably would have tried to make it as a comedian if I didn’t get terrible stage fright.

But do you think anything can be used as a joke when one also laughs when others or things are used as jokes?

I think almost any topic can be used as a joke but it HAS to be funny. If it’s a sensitive subject and isn’t funny, you’re toast. 

Same when it’s at someone else’s expense. It has to be funny and an obvious joke. 

I imagine I’m probably in the minority here but I’ve seen lots of comedians (Dave Chappell, Louis CK, etc) use sensitive material but they do it right.
