met up with a friend today — we hadn’t seen each other in a year. she lives on the road, always moving, always in a new place.
we usually meet in random corners of the world.
once, that was my dream too.
now… i like coming home.
having a daughter changed things — i’m more rooted now.
i still love to travel, but i love my little comforts. i love having a place that feels like mine.
have you ever lived like that? always moving?
sometimes it feels like that’s what freedom is… but maybe freedom looks different for everyone.
