AI infrastructure company Crusoe Energy is close to closing a roughly $500 million equity round led by billionaire Peter Thiel's Founders Fund. The round brings the company's valuation to $3 billion, double what it was two years ago. The announcement comes just weeks after Crusoe Energy announced a $3.4 billion joint venture agreement with Lancium Clean Campus to build a data center in Texas.
