Lesson Learned*
In this world, never look down on anyone, no matter the position you hold, because tomorrow is uncertain.
Once, an individual harassed me while I was performing my duty, to the point where I had to call security. He left before they arrived, and I continued my work.
Later that evening, the same individual was brought in by police after a pedestrian accident, requiring my medical assistance. The officer mentioned the patient had insisted on going elsewhere, saying he’d just left my facility—yet mine was the closest to the scene.
I looked at him and asked, “Do you recognize me? Was what you did acceptable?”
The question is: Did he deserve my help?
