mixed feelings explains their focus - if you have consumers on a platform, the dev ex matters less because other providers will pick it and make it simpler / better for app developers. the team's probably spending more time scaling the notifications platform and making notifications effective by adding features. on the other hand - it takes less than a day to add the things most modern API documentation wouid have. ngmi vibes.

got it! does this mean snapchain will block inclusion of some messages until a tx hash is approved on the node's onchain rpc? 🤔 if so, that's been a pattern we've wanted to have for unlocking some reactions that can only be published if there's a corresponding transaction. cc @rish @quazia

we have an API to get best friends for an fid in the backlog for adding social context to leaderboards and share components. in the interim though, the replies and recasts API is definitely a good proxy!

It is neynar specific - we built the interface for the API after understanding how our customers and most applications would want to use it. snapchain APIs are better for fetching data models which are optimized for the network layer.
