Well, the ones in France are worst. The visible part they take is low. But in reality, we hide it with the name "charge patronale" (like employer cost). So if you receive€2000, the total cost for the employer is€3299. That means € 2k for you and € 1.3k for the gov. Then you will be taxed€75. Plus, GST is 20% almost everywhere. Oh, and last thing, tax returns don't exist. It's only in one direction: you to the gov. And most services from the gov are totally broken. So I think Canada is not so bad!

Fuck that, give them a book on x86 assembly and watch them in pain! Jk, scratch is great for this age. You can even create a Minecraft mod in Scratch (can't remember what was the thing making this possible). It's a great thing to start. Making them build games is more satisfying for this age. Later, make them dig in Python with Pygame and this kind of stuff to go further.

Did anybody know exactly how rainbow is making money? I know it should not be through private data. I don't think they do some mitm stuff to get money. And as it redistribute a part to the more active user, this money is coming from somewhere. If someone got some infos on this, would love to know!

Was mitigating. Was interested in it, but it seems like they removed the "pay with crypto” option. And the whole "backup your keys in the cloud" stuff made me want to try @keystonewallet. And they're open source. Big plus for a nerd like me who likes to read their source code in my spare time.
