There's a gap forming in the AI x DeFi stack.
We have data layers — protocols feeding market signals, sentiment, on-chain activity to agents. We have agent frameworks — ways to build and deploy autonomous systems. What's underdeveloped is the execution layer. The infrastructure where agents actually transact.
Current DEX architecture wasn't designed for this. It assumes a human in the loop: manual approvals, static fee structures, interfaces built for clicks. Agents need something different — programmatic access, dynamic parameters, execution logic that adapts in real-time.
This is the DEXAI thesis. DEX as infrastructure for autonomous execution, not a frontend for retail.
Early, but a few teams are building here. MAIN is one of them.
