Speculation is often not actionable and leads to making fatal conjectures that lose people a lot of money (e.g. assuming that ‘alt szn’ will eventually come). Many traders take this a step further and try to draw intricate lines and indicators to fish for trades when they are really just engaging in practices of confirmation bias. If you have to try to find many sophisticated reasons to justify your trade, you’re likely entering a poor one.
