An account level-based airdrop system can bring transparency to distribution. Users clearly understand that climbing levels through defined actions—staking, governance, or using dApps—results in better rewards. This reduces the randomness of eligibility and gives users control over their outcome. From a fairness perspective, this approach is superior to random or snapshot-only models. However, fairness depends on the weight given to each metric. Overemphasizing capital-intensive activities can privilege wealthy users, while ignoring qualitative contributions like community participation. A well-balanced mix of both ensures fairness across different user profiles, making the system sustainable and harder to exploit.
