I had to be an asshole yesterday. I bought a new car a year and a month ago. At six months of ownership, I noticed a creaking sound in the front end. Had the dealership check it, they could not replicate it. On this (and every other trip to this service department) trip, they asked if I wanted a loaner vehicle. I declined as I always do. On April 3rd, I called to ask for an appointment to have it checked again because there is no way they can't hear it, and also the bumper to bumper warranty is getting close to expiring (I drive a fuck ton). I requested a loaner this time and they said they didn't have any, but they'd put me on a list. I haven't hounded them, but I have called three times to ask what spot I am on on the list. Every time I'm told they will check and call me back. Never a call back. I finally get someone to tell me I was 6th on the list. After nearly 6 weeks. No fuckin way lmaooooo A little back story for reference. I have purchased 7 brand new vehicles from this lot. I personally know the owner. This fella has I'd say 15 car dealerships in the area. Well, I went Karen and called him. I told him I didn't want to jump anyone in line, because if these poor souls have been waiting 6+ weeks that would be fkd. Well, seems like this location pulled a loaner out of their ass instantly. Interesting.
