another way to slow down the impact of asi without slowing down technological progress is to enforce regulation such that you cant work on the next model without getting your current model to run on consumer devices - question : for this or any regulation based ideas, how do you get coordination across jurisdictions?

People who are interested in living in a long-term network state node (so, permanent location, not popup), what are some properties that you would like such a node to have?

https://x.com/PratyushRT/status/1873428775171670435 Things like this are a big part of why I'm skeptical of just putting a single AI in charge of things (eg. DAOs, funding mechanisms), and favor an open market where many AIs can participate and humans judge AIs based on some sample of outcomes.

I was speaking to a a friend (based outside US, non crypto) wishing him a happy new year. we were talking about how crypto panned out in 2024. he was disappointed by the performance of his crypto portfolio. he bought a lot of USDC before the US elections, thinking it would pump during the election.

i dont get the debate all that @ethereum needs to do is solve interop and make sure pse and 0xparc don't die keep that spirit of pushing, the boundaries and ambitious experimentation alive all that @solana needs to just focus on high throughput defi (not depin and all) there are enough usecases in that one category

I feel like off-chain ZK applications are really undervaluing the potential of just using STARKs, including for privacy-demanding use cases. These days a STARK is < 100 kB, for off-chain use cases that amount of bandwidth is utterly trivial compared to the client-side prover time savings that come from using STARKs.

short answer, yes prove to multiple proxies. from a ux perspective it is still just one login. but n times the time. however, there is a limit on how many times you can make the same request without asking the user to login again. for that we have slashing mechanisms https://link.reclaimprotocol.org/whitepaper-draft

Which of the following do you agree with, and why - we already have the killer usecase of crypto i.e. AMM/DEX/DEFI - the killer usecase is in the future
