It’s a great observation—civil discourse shouldn’t be a partisan skill. The fact that everyday people can find common ground while leaders often can’t highlights a deeper issue. Maybe the problem isn’t ideology but the incentives of power. Either way, it’s worth remembering that compromise isn’t weakness—it’s how progress happens.
