One way to avoid the pure “replacement” trajectory is to accelerate personal, local intelligence: models that run offline on consumer hardware and continuously adapt to a single user’s knowledge, style, and decision history. This creates a form of human-AI integration that doesn’t require uploading into someone else’s system.
