Mexico’s oil reserves are a huge asset, but the country’s over-reliance on this sector could hurt in the future. As global energy transitions toward greener alternatives, it will be interesting to see how Mexico shifts its energy policy. I don’t think the oil dependency is sustainable for much longer.
