Happy to be back on the MetaMask blog today sharing the news that Solana is now live on MetaMask Extension!

I've spent the past couple years building out a strategy for MetaMask to go multichain (beyond Ethereum-compatible networks), putting together the teams to make it happen, and I'm thrilled to be able to share the first major announcement to come out of this initiative. 

You can upgrade to MetaMask Extension 12.18 in Google Chrome and start exploring the Solana ecosystem with native account support. Coming soon to Firefox, iOS and Android too. 

And yes, Bitcoin is still on the way :)

This is huge. Solana on MetaMask makes multichain feel real in a whole new way ngl.
