300 people in the Netherlands just found out the hard way that "easy money" is usually a ghost. The setup was a total classic: victims thought they were getting paid to write product reviews or hit it big with crypto investments, but the reality is enough to leave anyone shook. These scammers are clever they actually pay out a little bit of cash at first just to build trust. But then comes the twist where they ask you to deposit your own money to "unlock" higher pay. Once that cash hits their wallet, it’s funneled through a maze of global criminal networks that even Europol is struggling to untangle. The worst part is that the nightmare doesn't always end there. Many victims are getting hit a second time by fake recovery companies promising to find the lost funds for a fee. It’s a brutal reminder that if a deal looks too safe and simple to be true, it’s almost certainly a trap good
