Haven’t read this book, but from the reviews I’ve read, it’s (sadly) relatively well researched and credible. we’re only ever 30 mins away from full scale nuclear war (due to high launch readiness) and likelihood of nuclear use is higher than at any point since at least the end of the cold war.
