🪙 Day 29 | Rethinking Stablecoins
🧩 Part 1: Stability Isn’t Fixed — It’s Maintained
Before studying the SimpleStablecoin contract, I thought a stablecoin was just “a token that stays still.”
But the code showed me otherwise — stability is a state continuously maintained by logic and incentives.
That line collateralizationRatio = 150; isn’t just math; it’s a rule that quantifies trust.
To mint sUSD, you must over-collateralize by 150%.
It’s a lesson that trust can be designed — not assumed.
