🚀 What few people know about Base — the super advantage of gas
On Base, the gas fee structure has two components: an execution fee on L2 and a security fee published on Ethereum (L1) each time transactions are batched.
Thanks to this design, when network activity is at normal levels, you can often pay less than one cent (USD) per transaction.
Additionally, Base allows developers to use Paymasters, enabling users to avoid paying gas directly (or even pay it in a token other than ETH) , opening the door to a smoother and more accessible Web3 experience for new users. ⚡
