Despite the appearance there’s many ways to work with Black and White and during the years I noticed that the audience taste is very variegated. Deep blacks are the least loved imo, leave so much to imagination and the contrast is not always appreciated. While the scale of grey is surely love by more people, probably because they’re easy readable. My way to work with it is almost the same as I am shooting on the street.
