My opinion: If you think BaseApp and Zora are just meme coin trading platforms like pump.fun, you’re already missing the point. Neither of them was designed for that — both are aiming to replace traditional social media as we know it. Let’s talk about two key points: Content Coin and Creator Coin. Content Coin As the name suggests, it’s an onchain piece of content — an image, video, or post uploaded by someone. You can think of it like a meme coin, but tied to actual creative work. Creator Coin This represents the value given by an audience or community to a creator — basically, it’s like owning a piece of someone’s creative journey. So in the end, trading Content Coins like meme coins might look fun, but it’s not as impactful as holding a Creator Coin and growing alongside the creator. Just imagine if MrBeast had a Creator Coin at the start of his career — and you bought it back then. You’d be growing together with him right now.
