A solo Bitcoin miner spent just $86 to rent hashpower through the Nicehash Easymining platform. Surprisingly, he managed to solve a Bitcoin block single-handedly using that hashpower. From that block, the miner earned 3.12 BTC, worth approximately $271,000. This incident demonstrates that, although extremely rare, solo mining is still possible amidst the intense competition on the Bitcoin network.
