dan romero is a good example of when ego can be detrimental to you and your career
it’s important to be incentivized by what has the potential to actually benefit society at scale
although elon is far from perfect, there is a chance his kids will grow up to respect his contributions and the decisions he made
when dan’s kids grow up to find out he gave up on Farcaster, one of the most important solutions to one of our deepest collective problems, at the bottom of the market and was instead persuaded to work on corposlop they will seriously question his motivations and character
always ask yourself if your current or future children will have the ability to respect the decisions you make today
be a role model for what to do, not what not to do
