- it’s really impressive dan was able to raise and return the full 180m while also having built an open protocol the community is willing to champion and a fc native company was willing to acquire - it would have been cool to see a larger spend and better strategy over a longer timeframe from not only Merkle but key players in this space to grow farcaster - although it’s unfortunate dan lost conviction in the sufficient decentralization thesis, i truly respect his decision to pass the torch to those who’s conviction has never wavered and will continue to pave the way for us all - i love farcaster and i love you all, can’t even describe my appreciation for everyone who has ever contributed in any way to our cozy corner of the internet💜
