i have an idea for Word A Day
what if we had a button before accepting the daily challenge (upvote/downvote) where users could indicate whether they’re already familiar with the word and its definition?
this would let us gauge which words are genuinely new to most people allowing us to shift toward words that help the community collectively learn and expand our vocabularies
i know I may be a bit too forthright here, but the more esoteric the word the better!
