> The Office of the President matters most when the country is in unforeseen circumstances, which is also when policy typically takes a backseat. interesting take on why policy/ideology isn't the only thing that matters in a candidate

Today, we finally bring Morpho V2 out of stealth. After 4 years of building, this is by far our most ambitious release. An intent-based lending platform powered by fixed-rate, fixed-term loans, built to expand the boundaries of onchain loans. πŸ¦‹πŸ¦‹

as part of a broader convergence of factors, yes partnership means there's a wallet (which has been rumored for some time, X money) also some deplatforming of people like @shawmakesmagic prompted the though of our insane platform dependency to X

I mean they are the biggest distribution platform for most crypto apps. Once they have one or more horses in the race, you can be sure the race isn't even anymore. Does pump fun still work if tokens not launched on the X launcher (hypothetical) are not boosted? Does Kaito still work? If X takes API access from them? Does Bankr survive if only Grok can do tx on Twitter?

today, the winning formula for building a category-defining consumer brand is to have one or more of the following: 1) ridiculous ad spend, 2) a creator/celebrity distribution, or 3) a cult-like community. in lieu of spending millions of dollars on facebook/google advertising, or unless you're a creator with a casual 10m+ followers, you need to cultivate your own community that becomes your marketing engine and distribution channel. and that's why we're co-leading @tyhunnny and a team that has firsthand experience in building a community-led brand from the ground up and is now productizing those components on crypto rails. https://fortune.com/2025/06/11/ty-haney-tyb-try-your-best-series-a-loyalty-consumer/

> They are breaking a fundamental design rule: The radius of inner elements < radius of outer elements (since its a bigger corner). why is this an important rule? and what are the other design rules I ought to know?

After using the Liquid Glas systems (iOS26 and macOS Tahoe) for a day, here are my observations. - The design is FINE. You get used to it quickly. Some of it looks very cool. - On macOs, you barely notice it. Imo most noticeable is the extremely rounded corners of apps. Not sure I like it particularly because >50% of the apps haven't adopted it. Having 2 different corner radii windows is irritating. - Icons are much, much better. Better looking, more tactile, etc. - Biggest bug or irritant I am seeing is that the liquid glass sometimes doesn't know if it should be dark or white. - Clear look for icons is a cool way to beat addiction to your phone (but only the dark mode really works, clear look light has 0 contrast) - I like that every button is a button now again. People only highlight the low-contrast problems of this new design language, but this is actually a step in the right directions. Will others adopt this design language? Hard to say. Will be hard to emulate these distortions on web design.
