What a bummer, the fog was way too thick to catch the sunrise this morning… but hey, we stumbled on this absolutely stunning sea of clouds instead! Totally worth the early wake-up call. Nature always has a way of surprising you 🌄☁️

The view here is absolutely unreal. Endless meadows in that perfect yellow-green shade, with snow-capped mountains under a clear blue sky. Feeling completely recharged.

I wouldn’t call it ugly, but drab or dreary or grey or dismal. It’s days like today with such a heavy cloud cover and possibly rain or light drizzle that it never really gets light all day, common in November. We also get them in December if there is no snow. Or any time between now and the next growing season. It’s much worse in the farming area with its black ploughed fields than in town with its green lawns, ornamental evergreen trees and bushes, and coloured houses.
