I'm really curious why Google fired the flutter and dart teams. Is Google also austerity policy?
I really think flutter is the best one of cross platforms...

It sounds like only the non dev roles took a hit. They’re still really big on flutter. And they said those affected could apply again for other roles. It was a standard business reorg.

News reporting isn’t correct; it’s not all those teams, but people worked there. Mostly dev relations, marketers, testers, and low-performance developers. 

It’s not cool, but the core team is tiny. Join any mail list or check GitHub, and you will see around a dozen of the same nicknames😅
