Founders move to jurisdictions with minimal friction + ease of doing business. Talent doesn’t want to waste time politicking because it takes away from serious work, like changing the world. 🙃 Nothing against people trying to take back SF, but didn’t SF become the city we know today because intellectual capital relocated there due to uneasiness elsewhere? Relocating takes days or weeks, whereas changing a city's political makeup can take years or even decades.
