The word “Deinosuchus” translates to “terrible crocodile” in Greek. This croc could grow up to 40 feet in length and weigh 5,500 - 11,000 pounds. Just so you know, the saltwater crocodile is normally 14 - 17 feet in length; the largest Croc ever recorded was Lolong, coming at 20.2 ft, and 2,370 pounds.
