Coinbase has confirmed it’s launching a prediction market, built and co-released together with Kalshi, the second-largest prediction platform in the U.S.
According to early details, these will be U.S.-regulated event contracts, covering crypto, economics, politics, sports, entertainment, and more.
Participation is simple: open a Coinbase account, complete KYC, and trade using USD or USDC.
This also means both major exchanges are now entering the prediction-market arena — each in their own way:
