As a hetero lady (kill me) this word is too perfect for my outlook on dating men I would love for this not to be the case. But it’s not up to me - men have to grow the fuck up Literally no reason for me to date a man unless he gives me something I do not have. Partnership is that main thing. Financial stability or access to social status isn’t gonna cut it. I already have that thank you very much This is a privileged outlook. This is why women and girls need education, and why men fight to the death to keep us as second class citizens. They’d rather die than learn how to be like a girl

Exactly. I once told someone that there was no point in having a romantic relationship with a man, as there are no benefits whatsoever.

I think partnership is something that’s a lovely aspiration, and it takes two people. The gendered constructs are really what get in the way I guess
