For the creation of boundary - pushing graphic - novel series, we're looking for a new Miller, Moore, or Ware. Sadly, the cultural and comic - book - industry landscapes that birthed their boundary - pushing works haven't seen such radical shifts since the 1980s. Maybe the current mainstream acceptance of graphic novels could be the catalyst for new boundary - pushing graphic - novel series.
